Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog! I am a Tennessee based plumber. I specialize in bathroom and kitchen remodels, both residential and commercial, and I also do plumbing service and repairs. I am often asked general plumbing questions and so I thought it might be helpful to have a blog where I could not only familiarize potential customers with myself and my work, but also help to answer some of the most common questions people ask. I will also use this blog to provide links and resources that I feel might be helpful to the home or business owner. So dig right in here and if you have any questions that are not answered here or if you would like more information on my services please visit my Contact Page, click on "Contact Us", and fill out the form. I will get back to you as soon as possible. Leave a comment and let me know you stopped by! And if you are one of my clients, past or present, please leave a comment and let others know about my work! Word of mouth goes a long way!

*Please note that if you are using FireFox your comments may not show. If this happens, you can send your comments to me via the contact page and I will get them on here.

My husband and I bought a building for our 20 year old business about 5 years ago. The building was not quite 15 years old but it had some plumbing issues. We had several plumbers walk in and walk out, then Bob, the plumber, was hired. He had no problem running a pipe up to the ceiling and out a hole in the back wall. Now we have an outside faucet and can wash our cars when we have the time. Watering the grass and cleaning out the dumpster is easy as pie but not quite as sweet smelling.
Bob also cleaned out the drains in the kitchen and bathrooms. Now we flood them with bleach as he told us to once a week and everything is running smoothly.

  2. After having a home built it was easy to see right away that many things were wrong with the plumbing. The sump pump never worked quite right and was replaced every year, each one still not working. Then I called Bob, The Plumber, and told him about the situation. He came over with his box of tools and took the pvc pipe out of the window. I thought he was certainly looking for the problem in the wrong place but he immediately pulled out the 'check' valve, that little piece that keeps the water from backing up in the sump hole - the initial plumber had simply stuck the check valve inside the pipe incorrectly so that every time the water was pumped out of the hole, it just flowed back down into it again. With that problem solved, Bob, fixed a great deal of othe problems in my home. After living here for over 10 years all the faucets work properly and the basement never floods. - Rev. Bill
